Initially I was full of anxiety about going on this trip across the world to India. I had so many questions; would God use me? Would I be able to connect with the people? And, what do we have in common? The list goes on. However, from day one of arriving in Chennai, I was overwhelmed with joy. Yes, I was able to connect. We sung some of the same songs, have the same convictions, and worship the same God. To be so far from America yet having the freedom to serve the same God with over 800 Indian disciples was amazing. The faith and joy that they showed, even after facing the worst flooding in nearly one hundred years was unbelievable. This experience changed my life, and helped me to see how big our God really is.
