Welcome to the Greater Richmond Church of Christ! If you haven’t been here recently, you can see our website has gotten a major facelift. We have started the new year with a completely “new look”, but the same mission in mind---to love God, to love people, and to be well equipped to evangelize central Virginia.
Our new logo represents the cities of the “Greater” Richmond area illustrated by several buildings of which lies along or around the James River, the largest river in the state of Virginia. The city skyline is surrounded by a compass that is pointing north, towards God, of whom we are “fixed” on serving forever. As Psalm 123:1-2 says,
"I lift up my eyes to you, to you whose throne is in heaven.
As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the LORD our God, till he shows us his mercy."
Our prayer is that this website will be a resource and an inspiration of keeping our eyes looking upward towards God.
